And then there were two... - Smoking Cabinet Makeover

Remember this guy? He was my very first Annie Sloan Paint Project.  This is my husband's night stand now. It is one of my most popular pieces and it is all mine!!!  Well...last week, while shopping around a local antique store, we spotted another one. I bargained it down to the perfect price and my husband loaded it into the truck. We drove home with smiles on our faces. We knew exactly what we were going to do...THE EXACT SAME THING!
Here is the before:

Here is the after:
Duck Egg and Old White. Classic!

Heavy Dry Brush on the Details

And now there are two.

Don't Laugh. I am staging with whatever isn't packed for our move.

  5. Love those cabinets...the color and distressing are perfect. In fact, I have one that has been sitting for a while...almost don't want to touch it. Maybe it's that antique thing although that didn't stop me from paintin' my Florentine antique nesting tables so who am I kidding. Beautifully redone!

  7. Oh these are gorgeous. I like how you left the tops dark. And is that ASCP not so addicting? I am on the hunt for little tables like these to re-do with Duck Egg too...possibly my favorite color.

My husband is like that, he loves a great bargain and actually found a nice piece this week for me. He's re-finished a little night stand in Robin's Egg, and I love it, yours are just wonderful!

  14. It was meant to be. Love what you did with those beauties. SO funny too, because I just did a post last week about my smoking table makeover using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint! We must be kindred spirits.
