These are a few of my favorite things - (no.1)

***Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens***
***Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens***
Well, now that I have created the mood, I would like to present my first Favorite Things Feature. Every week, I am amazed at the talent of my friends in blogville. I would like to help these amazing people showcase their talents by sharing what has blown me away.
If you are as impressed and I am, please visit the blogs of these talented ladies and tell them I sent you.
I hope you enjoy what I have found.

1. The first find is from Kim at Too Much Time On My Hands. I love the colors in the fabric she chose. It must have taken a LONG time to line up the patterns this way. Amazing job Kim!

2. This cabinet is by Kathy at Petticoat Junktion. I love this color green and have not been brave enough to use it. It is just perfect. Look at the hidden Chandelier stencil in the wardrobe. How cool is that?!?!? This is an amazing show piece and perfect to showcase accessories in a shop. Great work Kathy

3. This next one is from Daena over at Bad Rabbit Vintage. Her stuff is AMAZING. She has the most beautiful small painted stools and benches. I consider myself a crafter and painter but she is truly an artist. I could honestly feature everything she does. She is also opening up her new booth and I am looking forward to reading her future blogs about the subject.

4. Ok...This one is personal for me because Christie from Carter's Cottage is a great friend of mine. She is the store owner of the shop where I have my space. However, that did not affect my decision to feature this secretary. I have seen this in person and it is breathtaking. She uses ASCP on all of her projects (like me) and she can create the most buttery, creamy texture. It looks like a perfectly icing-ed cake.

5. Korrie from Red Hen Homes has done some truly amazing projects in the last few weeks. Check out her suitcase wall! However, I am a furniture girl so I want to feature one of her fabulous makeovers. This dresser has helped foster my yellow obsession.

I hope you have enjoyed my features this week. Please visit these amazing ladies and tell them I sent you!

I have also listed a few new items on my Etsy page. Feel free to give it a visit.

  1. Laura, thanks so much for the feature. I love the company I am in. Too much time on her hands has outdone herself. I love bright colors (who knew!) and I covet that desk.
