Things are finally starting to setting down here after our move and remodel. I am excited to organize my scary crafting space and let the creative juices start flowing again. While my husband has been working on the home makeovers, I have been finally getting to some projects that had been collecting dust at the old house. Here is a peak at some random lovelies:
I love this piano bench with the curvy legs. The Louis Blue is the perfect shabby color.
I scour the Goodwill and Salvation Army for anything wood that I can paint. This was a vintage bread box that is now a chalkboard catch-all.
I have become a bit "chalkboard paint" happy recently. I found this beautiful silver Lazy Susan. It contained a Formica center. I painted with Annie Sloan paint first but wasn't sold on it. So I recovered it with chalkboard paint. I am currently testing its durability. I will report back soon.
Like I said, I love painting anything I can get my hands on. These were very dated but solid wood candle sticks. Now they are fresh and fun. These might grace my fireplace mantel.
