Painted Farmhouse Signs

It is no secret that I love the rustic farmhouse feel.  That is what I have in my house and that is what I am drawn to.

So when I cleaned the garage and found some salvaged barn wood, I knew exactly what to do.

Paint a sign!

I had a bit of wood left over from the large sign so I made a companion sign. :)
And yes, I used Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. These signs are painted with Old White, Aubusson Blue and Primer Red.

These are currently for sale at Carter's Cottage in Dekalb Illinois.

  1. Do you use a stencil for these kind of signs? they are very sweet!

  2. Thanks for joining Friday Pretties! Your new space in Geneva looks great. I am loving your new signs, I saw one in the shop today, very cute.

  3. I love the signs. I have some old fencing that i think will work perfectly for something similar. Thanks for the inspiration.

  4. This looks great! I’d love it if you’d link up to TA-DA TUESDAY as well! You're so talented!
