Painted Farmhouse Signs

It is no secret that I love the rustic farmhouse feel.  That is what I have in my house and that is what I am drawn to.

So when I cleaned the garage and found some salvaged barn wood, I knew exactly what to do.

Paint a sign!

I had a bit of wood left over from the large sign so I made a companion sign. :)
And yes, I used Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. These signs are painted with Old White, Aubusson Blue and Primer Red.

These are currently for sale at Carter's Cottage in Dekalb Illinois.

  1. Do you use a stencil for these kind of signs? they are very sweet!
