My Journey to Jury Duty

Several weeks ago, I was summoned for Jury Duty and Monday was my day to attend. Thankfully, I did not get chosen for a jury but I did gain a great deal of historic information on the courthouse.

I am also lucky enough to have a house within walking distance from beautiful downtown Sycamore. So I took a page from my blogger friend Jennifer from Town and Country Living and I decided to take you on a photo tour of my walk to the courthouse. Enjoy!

Start - My House:
Curb appeal remodel still in progress.
My strange little street has a little murky pond on the corner. Only one like it in town as far as I know. Local legand has it that it was a local Buffalo watering hole. Who knows?!? However, you can hear the bullfrogs at night. Neat sound.

Then my travel to Somonauk Street.

Then I traveled through Downtown Sycamore and came to the beautiful Sycamore Courthouse.
 Amazing!

Thanks for traveling with me.

  3. What a lovely little town you live in! Or maybe not so little? Either way, I love the beautiful homes and they look well-cared for! This from someone who lives in a small town with houses that are not so cute and not so well cared for! Enjoy!
