This Week's Finds - Kane County Flea Market Treasures

Today I had the pleasure of spending the day with one of my favorite people, Christie Carter of Carter's Cottage.
Many of you know her as your Northern Illinois ASCP expert.
We had a great time shopping around the Kane County Flea Market. We talked "shop". We talked paint. We talked about girly stuff and we giggled a lot. We had so much fun and this flea market  is one of my favorite places to shop. Today did not disappoint.
I was also able to hit up a couple of good garage sales this weekend.

Here is a glimpse of my new finds:

The Overview
large Ball jar (personal purchase), large industrial wheel, book: Aged to Perfection

wooden box with key, wheel, soon-to-be painted table, sweet little stool

bottles, small canning jars (personal purchase), wheel

pulley - soon to be on my etsy page

metal antiques plaque (personal purchase)

Seriously awesome metal shelf!
Many of these purchases will soon be off to one of the shops: Carter's Cottage, Twigs and Twine or my Etsy page.

If you see something you are interested in, let me know! :)

Don't forget, I am now your online location for Toft Touch Soaps!

  6. You found some wonderful treasures. I love that huge jar and the pulley. I recently posted some pulleys I found on my Once Upon a Firefly FB page. I picked them up not knowing exactly what I'm going to do with them. Do you have any thoughts?

  9. My favorite is the part that I think came from a treadle sewing machine and the antiques sign. Sounds like a wonderful day.
