A Whimsical Makeover: Working on a Wall

We are starting to see the light at the end of the renovation tunnel here in the Whimsical Household. The downstairs is about 85% complete and we are working on a few upstairs items as well.

My husband is doing all of the painting, cutting, hammering and drilling. I am in charge of the beautification. I can do that.

I have fluffed the built-ins, accessorized the kitchen and spent hours on swatches for throw pillows.

I have not spent much time on the walls.

Today I tackled a wall.

Here is the "before" of the space I worked on today:

It was nothing special.

Here is the "after":

I picked up these baskets at Second Hand Rose in Poplar Grove Illinois. Just love them on the wall.
Saucers: My favorite flea market find of all time.

This wall now feels complete. Before it felt like an afterthought.

I am working on this will all of the walls downstairs.

Living room walls...here I come!!

Don't forget, I am now your online location for Toft Touch Soaps!
