Flea Market Find

Today was the first day of the Kane County Flea Market and people were lined up to get in.
It was cold and much smaller than the normal Kane size. However, Illinoisans were ITCHING to get back to treasure hunting.

I spent the day with my friend, Christie. We had a great time and both came home with a truck full.
I will blog about my big finds soon. Today I will just share one.

Ever since I can remember, my dad has always called me "Rabbit". It even made it into his perfect wedding toast. So rabbits are always on my radar. I don't collect them but I do notice them.

I happened upon this today:

I couldn't help but purchase it. It spoke to the teacher and daughter in me. I love the simplicity of it and it helps move my house a bit more towards Spring.

This picture describes my style perfectly. This is me.

  1. I agree. I really like it as well... It is something I would have purchased myself. I like how it's sweet, simple and does have you move forward towards spring ;)

  3. Oh, I would have wanted that too! Very sweet...the flea market near my house is open year round but is loaded with too much new imported junk. Antique treasures are few and far between and WAY out of line price wise. I really miss the flea markets that we went to when I lived in Minnesota. (I live in San Antonio now!)
