A Little Help From My Friends: The Chalkboards

It finally happened.

I reached my breaking point.

I wondered how long I was going to be able to keep up with all of this while also being the kind of teacher that I expect of myself and my students deserve. I am getting a bit tired and stressed. Not in a bad way but in an overwhelmed way.

So, what am I going to do about it?
Quit teaching? No Way! I really love my job. Some people just say that... I absolutely mean it.

Quit Whimsical Perspective? Nope. Love this too and the friends that come with it.

Get the husband to help? Not an option. Not only is his business booming,  he is SO busy with our major house project.

So what's a blogger to do?   Hire a friend!!!

I have a very busy month and a half ahead and I needed some help getting through it. An employee of my husbands' and friend of ours has offered to help out on the weekends. Yay!!!

So today, I was able to turn this:

into this:

Thanks to the help of our friend, Klint, I was able to get 2-3 days worth of work done in a few hours. Klint did all of the measuring and cutting. I mastered the painting. Hopefully, this will up my productivity and give me a bit more time with my husband and friends.

This time of the year is always a bit busy. I am so lucky to have a guy to help me paint through it.

Klint and I have some fun projects planned. Stay tuned...

  1. O Dear Blog Friend, I have you on my side bar.My blog no big deal at all...but every person is important and those who take the time to build a blog and show what they do...we should give them comments and respect in so many ways...and then those that are also a teacher, well drop everythinn and give them applause...O My hubby is in education and now Director of Transportation after many years in class room then assistant principle in elementary and then middle school and coaching from junior to high school...I get the tired you feel...but to be a person who touch kids lives and then touch crap people are tossing and turn to a treasure....love what you do on both fronts of your life...and what a great friend. So hope comments make your day and keep leaning forward....

So glad you found the help you needed - it can all get so overwhelming sometimes - just social media alone can get the better of me!
